Summer is a busy time for the photo department. With many upcoming festivals and events this summer is gonna be no different. First up on the docket is a promotional shoot with our friends at PPG and the Merle Levine Academy  (MLA).

MLA is a highly specialized school in northern Toronto for kids with specific educational needs. It is our job to show the world just how special these kids are and to demonstrate how awesome this school is. What a great gig. From eating fruit on a stick, playing with iPads, doing drama class, yoga, reading buddies, biology and computer class – this was an awesome day!

You can look for the 700 plus photos to be coming online (not all at once!) over the next few weeks / months / years…..

Noisette is an awesome company – they are a well know, family owned and operated,  Markham (a suburb of Toronto) based bakery. I would take payment in eclairs if my boss would let me! We have been working with them to re-launch their brand since the opening of their first retail outlet. A new website and new online marketing strategies including a blog, and facebook campaign are on the books and we should be launching at the start of summer 2o12. I will keep you posted on this one, in the meantime if you are in the area I strongly recommend a trip to Noisette – tell them Tyler from Minds Combined sent you.

Monarch Homes – one of North America’s largest builder of luxury condominiums has once again trusted Minds Combined with it’s video production – We recently shot and produced a short online piece at the Couture  development in downtown Toronto and have since been asked to fully produce  a technical video outlining the lakshore developments technical components. The video, which will be shot on location and will be around 45 minutes in length will essentially be an instructional video on how to operate the building. That is a seriously important piece of video!

The challenges in this project are numerous and include shooting with multiple subjects in a live environment, to dealing with small, dark and often claustrophobic spaces. The final video will be fully edited and colour corrected with full animation graphics and titles. Minds Combined will also be creating custom music for the piece, a first for our company.

Minds Combined Media Inc. has been working in partnership with Canada’s leading automotive research firms, DesRosiers Automotive Consultants, to development a new online information management system to be used by all of the major players in the Canadian market including General Motors, Toyota, Honda, BMW, and Audi.

Minds Combined has been involved in the strategic planning, implementation and development phases of the project starting in August 2011.  We are currently going into the first phase of bug checking and testing starting in July 2012 and hope to have the system fully operational no later then October 1st 2012. With ultra sensitive sales data, and multiple access points across large company intranets on various platforms, development of the system has been challenging but also rewarding to all involved.

Minds Combined will also be involved in the aesthetic site design as well as implementation and training strategies following the July soft launch.
